After installing a set of Waikato Milking systems Ultimate ECR's c/w Swingarms and a wet - it QD0 automatic walk over teat spray system in my 36 bail herringbone shed during the winter period; i have found that these components have helped remove the intensity of the daily routine of milking the cows as well as creating a more relaxed milking environment.
I have also experienced a reduction in Somatic Cell Count Averages - down from 90 - 110,000 last year to 60 - 70,000 so far this year.

Charlie Hore and Belinda Colling, own and run a Maniototo property, “Patearoa Station”. It is a vast property covering 8500 Ha, made up of 8280 Ha hill country and  220 Ha irrigable flat land. Charlie and Belinda mainly farm merino sheep and Hereford cattle. Charlie engaged Progressive to design and install a k-line and centre pivot irrigation system, both systems providing an additional 60Ha of irrigation.

We built our 1st Waikato 54 bail dairy shed with Progressive in 2010, we were really happy with the way the project was delivered and the way the shed functions. We built our second shed with Progressive in 2014. Again the project was delivered exactly as promised – on time and on budget. Both sheds have the Waikato Smart ECR cup removers, Smart wash and Smart spray.
Building the sheds was the start of the relationship but the back up support, service and standard of maintenance that Progressive have provided has ensured our ongoing partnership. Progressive offer a very good scheduled maintenance program which ensures everything is maintained to specification and also helps minimise costly breakdowns.
