In August 2013 Progressive Engineering merged with local electrical firm Munro Electrical so we could offer electrical solutions to our clients. We had been asked for a number of years what we could offer our clients in this area and are pleased with the outcome of adding an electrical offering to our business. Our electrical division with 9 staff have over 25 years' experience in dairy, domestic and commercial work and are known by many clients to offer a high quality and exceptional service.
"I engaged Progressive Engineering to design and implement the effluent system for our new conversion at Feldwick.
During the course of the project we had poor weather which caused delays. Progressive helped us through so we were able to milk our cows on time.
The design and build phase went very well and the system we signed up for versus what was delivered is exactly as we had hoped. The Mono pump and cobra rain gun are great products and function every bit as well as we had hoped.
The staff that worked on the job from the design and quote stage through to the team that fitted the system were most helpful and did an excellent job.
I would thoroughly recommend Progressive Engineering to install your effluent system, you will not be disappointed."

"Janene and I made the decision to use Progressive Engineering to build our new shed at Otautau. This was to be our 4th Waikato shed and it seemed the logical decision to engage Progressive to build the new shed also.
We are happy with the finished result. The shed is finished to a high standard. The team that worked on the shed from the builder through to the milking machine team and the electricians were great. The shed was completed and commissioned on time and it now functions very well and is great to work in.
I have no hesitation in recommending the team at Progressive Engineering to anyone looking to build a new shed or upgrade an existing shed. The level of professionalism and quality of their work enabled the project to be completed on time. "

After installing a set of Waikato Milking systems Ultimate ECR's c/w Swingarms and a wet - it QD0 automatic walk over teat spray system in my 36 bail herringbone shed during the winter period; i have found that these components have helped remove the intensity of the daily routine
of milking the cows as well as creating a more relaxed milking environment.
I have also experienced a reduction in Somatic Cell Count Averages - down from 90 - 110,000 last year to 60 - 70,000 so far this year.
"I knew i was getting a good product from the guys at Progressive Engineering Southland but the whole package has exceeded my expectations"
